O.T.A.R. System As you may be aware there is an O.T.A.R. system in place to assist you with requesting technical service from our Technology department. This system is much more advanced than the previous system and allows the requestor much more information regarding the status of their request. This system is designed for ease of use by the requestor. All that is needed to access this system is a username and password. The usernames for all district users, currently having an active email accounts, have been created by our department and passwords assigned. The username structure for this system is the same as your email username WITHOUT the @neomin.org. For example, a typical email username of jonnah.hetzel@neomin.org would be jonnah.hetzel for the O.T.A.R. system. All users who have active email accounts have accounts on the O.T.A.R. system. The password for ALL users is currently set to help2005. All in lowercase and without the ending period. Once you have logged in, you can choose to change your password or leave it at the default. Users who do not have an active email account, do not have accounts on the O.T.A.R. system. This is because the new system incorporates email as a vital means of communicating request status. If you are without an active email account, please ask a coworker to enter your request on your behalf. You should speak with your building Technology Assistant to arrange creation of an account for you. Once you have successfully logged into the new O.T.A.R. system, click on the link to submit a new request. The only information needed to complete the request is to select your building in the category field, enter a brief title for your request, and to provide a detailed description of the issue. The category/building information is necessary to route your request to the correct Technology Assistant. When entering your request description, please be as detailed as possible. This will help the Technology Assistant to know what tools, parts, or software to bring when they respond to your request.
